Gates on Wi-Fi,
internet on 4G
Connect to your TTime gates without losing internet, and what to do if it does not work.
Two connections at once
The gate’s Wi-Fi network has no internet access, and that is normal. Your phone needs to stay on it to talk to the gates, and use mobile data for internet. Android tends to drop a Wi-Fi network “with no internet”; the settings below stop it from doing that.
Three settings to check
Do this once, before your first session.
Internet goes through 4G during the session.
Settings → Apps → TTime → Battery.
Wi-Fi settings → Intelligent Wi-Fi.
4 steps, in this order
Check that it is powered on.
In TTime, tap the Wi-Fi button and choose the gate’s network.
“No internet access”: do NOT answer “Yes / Stay connected”. Just ignore it.
The gates appear and syncing works.
What I see, what I do
Tap a problem to show the fix.
The gates do not respond
No internet once connected to the gate
- Wi-Fi settings → “Forget” the gate’s network.
- Reconnect from TTime and ignore the notification.
- Check that mobile data is turned on.
The phone keeps leaving the gate’s Wi-Fi
The gates disconnect when the screen turns off
Still stuck
- Close TTime.
- Forget the gate’s network.
- Restart the phone.
- Go through the 4 steps again.
